Alexander Stewart - Sailing Whitsundays - Great Barrier Reef - Australia

Alexander Stewart - Whitsunday Sailing - Australia

Enjoy 3 beautiful days and nights aboard the luxurious Alexander Stewart.  A 70ft vessel, the Alexander Stewart cruises the Whitsunday Islands with a maximum of 18 passengers aboard to ensure your comfort for your 3 day cruise.

Made of various types of timber, including Noumean Kauri, Ribbon Maple, Red Cedar, Silky Oak, Tasmanian Blackwood and Oregon, the Alexander Stewart gives the large, spacious interior layout a harmonious feeling of kinship between passengers onboard. No two trips are the same on the Alexander Stewart; our experienced crew and captain choose the highlights of your cruise depending on whether conditions, and where possible, tailor the cruise to the wants of guests on board.

The Whitsunday Islands, situated on the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, hosts an abundance of wild marine life that you have the opportunity to see in the naturally occurring habitat.  Opportunities for bushwalking, snorkelling and ecological tours are available throughout the cruise.

A modern vessel, the Alexander Stewart is built on the same model as that of Joshua Slocum, who was the first sailor to circumnavigate the globe, in the year of 1898.  The Alexander was handcrafted by 3 generations of the same family over 17 years.
